Mike’s Recipe for an AAP

Take an incomplete AAP shell out of the freezer, from the bottom drawer, or off the back burner.

Start with a Base of Required Narrative Sections.  Add, edit, or delete optional text, to taste, if desired.

Add Employees*.  Stir by Department.  Pour into Organizational Profile.  Set Aside.

Take another set of Employees.  Stir by EEO Category, Race, and Gender.  Pour into Job Group Analysis.  Add Census Data.  Set Goals.

Separate Applicants* and Hires* by Job Group, Race, and Gender.  Analyze until done.

Separate Promotions* by Job Group, Race, and Gender.  Analyze until done.

Separate Terminations* by Job Group, Race, and Gender.  Analyze until done.

Remove Goals from last year’s AAP.  Measure progress.

Select Decorative Adornments, if desired, such as Outreach Programs, Compensation Discrimination Analysis, Accomplishments, etc.

* Keep Raw Ingredients in a sealed container for up to two years.
